Recognizing the surging demand for affordable & high quality mattresses in the Direct to Consumer (DTC) sector, we took the initiative to establish Sommni. Our primary focus is to cater to the mid-tier market segment, offering Malaysia then the rest of the World with redefined comfort and impeccably crafted mattresses and bedding products of export quality, all at an affordable price. By blending expertise, craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology, we deliver superior products that meet the needs and preferences of our discerning customers.
Today, our group's products are exported to more than 30 countries worldwide, extending the reach of great sleep across the globe. Operating from our facilities that span over a million square feet, we are equipped to meet the growing demand for our mattresses. How we made modern day mattress economical
With years of experience in the global export of OEM mattresses, we have gathered years of feedback to make the perfect mattress while achieving economy of scale. With our constant hunger for improvement, we have taken a data driven approach to truly redefine comfort with Sommni.
We at Sommni do not compromise on quality and workmanship of our products. All our materials are sustainably source and of the highest quality. Over the years, we have invested heavily in the latest technology & machinery to ensure efficient and sustainable manufacturing to provide the highest quality products while playing our part in reducing CO2 emission to minimise the negative effects on Mother Earth.
Our R&D team are always working on ways in reducing and repurposing waste materials and energy into new products and back into our process line. To date, we have developed several products from re-bonded latex and implemented several renewable energy initiatives such as Solar Panels and heat exchangers and are constantly exploring and seeking new Green technology partners to play our part in reducing our carbon footprint.
Sourcing our materials: Where quality meets responsibility
Sommni believes that our customers deserve only the best. Therefore, at Sommni we source our raw materials only from the best suppliers in the market.
Our raw natural latex is sourced strategically from a renowned company that taps their latex sap from rubber trees only from a particular region in the South of Peninsular Malaysia. This is because the Southern region of Peninsular Malaysia is naturally blessed with the optimal climate and humidity for rubber trees to grow. Thus, producing the best quality natural latex for Sommni’s 100% natural latex cores used in all our mattresses.
Further to that, all our other materials are sourced only from sustainable and ethically operated factories who not only adhere to sustainable and green manufacturing conducts, but also practice fair labour laws practices.
